Utilizing cutting edge technology, we diagnose and manage diseases like glaucoma, macular degeneration and cataracts with greater precision (check out our advanced technology page!).
Earlier and more precise diagnosis means earlier treatment and better outcomes. We are taking an aggressive approach to diseases that previously had few treatment options. Great advances have been made in the treatment of these diseases.

It is a normal age-related change that usually grows very slowly, but can be seen in babies as well. Preventative measures can be taken to prevent the early onset of cataracts. However, when the cataracts become more advanced, surgery might be the best option. Our office works closely with the best cataract surgeons in the Edmonton area.

Diabetes occurs when the body can't produce or properly use insulin, which results in high levels of blood sugar in the body. Diabetes can affect small blood vessels, many of which are found in the eye. Diabetic eye disease can lead to vision loss or even blindness.
